Griffiths Contractors took on the ambitious task of transforming the existing A road into a dual carriageway, spanning 1.5 kilometers from Coed Ely roundabout to Llantrisant Business Park. This project also included the construction of a new active travel bridge to accommodate pedestrians and cyclists, ensuring safe passage over the new road.
Geographical Complexity: While the project covered a relatively short distance, approximately 1.5 kilometers, it presented terrain complexities that needed to be carefully managed.
Duration of the Project: With a project timeline of nearly two years, considerations for maintenance, especially during the challenging winter months, were paramount.
